Alex and Jack created DASH water after working for years in the mainstream soft drink industry. Both have farming experience and know firsthand how much produce never reaches our plates. So they decide it's time to change this practice.

Their aim is to hydrate consumers and at the same time reduce the disposal of "imperfect looking" fruits and vegetables.

DASH infuses super-tasty waters with real, amazing fruit. These are bent, crushed, twisted, deformed fruits that others say no to. By accepting these "flaws", DASH is helping to tackle food waste, which occurs with up to 40% of fruit and vegetables grown in the UK going to waste. This is a seriously frightening statistic about a serious problem that needs to be addressed. At Dash, ingredients are judged by taste alone - looks never matter. So while they are picky about taste, they don't care if the fruit is bumped, bent, broken or crushed. They want to do their part in the fight against food waste, so by saying yes to produce that others say no to, they make tasty drinks and in a small way help raise awareness of the big waste problem.
