ALBA cinnamon is cut from the thinnest and most aromatic inner pieces of the bark and rolled into thin sticks that can be crushed between the fingers. The fact that it's organic is the icing on the cake.

Sri Lankan cinnamon is sweeter and more flavorful than the coarse cassia cinnamon most commonly found in the market. All Sri Lankan cinnamon is hand cut, making it more desirable than industrially processed cassia cinnamon. In addition, cinnamon cutting is not among the most preferred actions by farmers because it is heavy and labor-intensive. On average, one person can cut about five cinnamons in a day, and the best of the Tibbothugoda group can cut about 15 kg of ALBA cinnamons in a day.
