Sancho is an Amsterdam-based artist whose playful and expressive style explores spontaneity, imagination, and everyday life. After completing business studies in the UK and working in China, he gradually shifted from design to art – starting with sketches of his wife on napkins, which evolved into a unique universe of images and characters.
His collaboration with COCO is inspired by the landscapes, people, and traditions of Colombia. The "hands" motif symbolizes the collective effort involved in creating the chocolate – from the farmers to the bakers and chocolatiers. Working in both digital illustration and painting and sculpture, Sancho combines creativity with the practical requirements of design, creating packaging that is both meaningful and impressive.
