About Hysope

Hysope begins with the story of an Epicurean.

In 2019, Meriadec Buschmüller, founder of Hysope and lover of quality products, realized that there was a gap in the market: no mixer highlighted the spirits he loved the most. The Moscow Mule

INGREDIENTS
4 cl of Gray Goose vodka
12 cl Hysope Ginger beer
1 cl lime juice
2 drops of Angostura bitters

For garnish
A slice of lime

PREPARATION
1. Fill a copper glass with large ice cubes and stir with a cocktail spoon.
2. Pour 4 cl of Gray Goose vodka and 1 cl of lime juice.
3. Add 12 cl of Hysope Ginger Beer. Stir.
4. Add 2 drops of Angustora Bitter.
5. Finish the cocktail with a dome of crushed ice* and a lime wedge.
6. Serve with a bottle of Hysope Ginger Beer.

Mezcal Mule

INGREDIENTS
4 cl Mezcal Herencia de Sanchez
10 cl Hysope Ginger beer
1 cl lime juice
2 cl of agave syrup

Garnish
Slices of fresh ginger
A pinch of chili

COOKING
1. In a copper cup, place many ice cubes*. Stir with a cocktail spoon.
2. Pour into the glass: 4 cl of Herencia de Sanchez mezcal, 1 cl of lime juice and 2 cl of agave syrup. Stir.
3. Add 10cl Hysope Ginger Beer.
4. Finish your cocktail with a dome of crushed ice, a slice of fresh ginger and a dash of chili.
5. Serve with a bottle of Hysope Ginger Beer.

Burgundy Mule

INGREDIENTS
Cocktail:
4 cl of Sab's gin
10 cl Hysope Ginger beer
4 cl of Burgundy verjus cordial

Cordial
20 cl verjus
140 g of powdered sugar
100 g of blackcurrant fruits

For garnish
Grapes

COOKING
If you want to make your own Burgundy verjuice cordial, start with the recipe below.
1. Fill a Julep glass with ice cubes. Chill the glass by stirring with a cocktail spoon.
2. Pour 4 cl of Sab's gin directly into the glass, then 4 cl of cordial. Stir.
3. Add 10cl Hysope Ginger Beer and top the glass with a dome of crushed ice.
4. Arrange the currants on top of the cocktail before serving with the bottle of Hysope Ginger Ale!

* Make your own Burgundy verjuice cordial!

You need 20 cl of verjuice, 140 g of powdered sugar and 100 g of blackcurrant berries.
1. Pour 20 cl of verjuice into a saucepan with 140 g of powdered sugar. 2. Stir until a homogeneous liquid is obtained.
3. Place the pan over medium heat and increase the temperature while stirring. Let it simmer for 2 minutes: the sugar must be completely dissolved in the juice!
3. Add the blackcurrants and mix.
4. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
5. Monitor and stir occasionally.
6. Turn off the heat and allow the mixture to cool before straining the liquid using a strainer. Pour the cordial into a glass bottle: that's it!
