Smoked in Spanish oak

Crystal salt from the underground salt springs in Villena, Spain. Hand picked and then dried by the wind in Alicante and the Mediterranean sun. After drying, the salt is placed in closed chambers where it is smoked with oak wood smoke for several weeks. Smoked salt is widely used in Scandinavian cuisine and can be combined with all kinds of spices.
