Murcia red pepper has an intense red color and a delightfully full flavor of sweet red peppers. Murcia is one of the two regions in Spain that have a certificate of origin and quality of red peppers (Protected Designation of Origin).
This seasoning is a classic part of Spanish cuisine and is suitable for omelettes, fish and vegetable dishes. The variety of pepper used is called Bola, and the seeds are removed when preparing the red pepper. The seasoning can be used during cooking or sprinkled at the end.
