Hysope begins with the story of an Epicurean.

Cucumber Gin & Tonic

INGREDIENTS
4 cl of Hendrick's gin
12 cl Hysope Tonic Cucumber

For garnish
Lime zest
A stem of rosemary

PREPARATION
1. Fill a G&T glass with large ice cubes. Chill by stirring with a cocktail spoon.
2. Pour 4 cl Hendrick's gin and 12 cl Hysope Cucumber Tonic. Stir again.
3. Take a lime peel, then pinch it between your fingers over the glass to release its essence*. Then put it in the glass with a sprig of rosemary.
4. Serve with a bottle of Hysope Tonic Cucumber to prolong your drink!

*Hysope advises:
A pinch of lemon peel over the glass highlights its essences.

Basil & Cucumber Smash

INGREDIENTS
Cocktail
4 cl gin n°1 ADN Distillerie du Rhône
0.5 cl herbal honey
2 cl filtered lemon juice
1.5 cl basil cordial
5 cl Hysope Tonic Cucumber

Basil cordial
60 g of basil leaves
240 g of sugar
240 ml of water

For garnish
Basil leaves

PREPARATION
1. Take an Old Fashioned glass and fill it with ice cubes. Stir with a cocktail spoon.
2. Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add 4cl n°1 DNA gin, 0.5cl herbal honey, 2cl filtered lemon juice and then 1.5cl basil cordial*.
3. Shake before pouring the mix into the glass using a cocktail strainer.
4. Add 5 cl Hysope Tonic Cucumber.
5. Lightly rub basil leaves in the palm of your hand and place them on top of the cocktail.


*Want to make homemade basil cordial?
1. Mix the water and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
2. Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Add the basil leaves, stirring to coat with the syrup.
4. Remove pot from heat and allow to cool to infuse naturally.
5. Filter through a strainer and pour into a glass bottle: that's it!

A summer in Saint-Germain

INGREDIENTS
1.5 cl Saint-Germain elderflower liqueur
2 cl verjuice
2 drops of saline
6 cl Hysope Tonic Cucumber

For garnish
Jasmine flower
A slice of fresh cucumber

PREPARATION
1. First, prepare a saline solution. In a container, dissolve 20 g of salt in 80 g of lukewarm water.
Place the mixture in a measuring bottle in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before starting the cocktail.
2. Place large ice cubes in a G&T glass. Stir using a cocktail spoon.
3. Pour in 1.5 cl of Saint-Germain elderflower liqueur and 2 cl of verjuice*.
4. Add 2 drops of saline.
5. Top up with 6 cl Hysope Cucumber Tonic.
6. Stir again to mix.
7. Place a fresh jasmine flower and a slice of freshly cut cucumber in the glass and enjoy!


* Make your own juice!
Take young grapes, still green. Dry it and peel it.
Put it in the centrifuge and filter the liquid with a cloth.
To improve preservation, add salt to your juice. Allow 1 teaspoon per ½ liter of green juice.
Ready ! Consume your juice preferably within 2 days.
