What is special about this tea?

" In China's Fujian province, the buds of this tea are hand-picked within two hours of bursting, then left to dry under the sun's rays. This is one of the most exceptional varieties - refreshing, aromatic and light. If the white tea in your cup has a green color, then it is an imitation. Often green tea is presented as white. "

for teapigs

Nick and Louise started teapigs in 2006 with one goal in mind – to get the English drinking real tea again. They met while working for a major tea company, where they learned all about tea and drank a lot of it. And the more they learned, and the more they drank, the more they realized something important: that there was a huge world of quality teas that weren’t getting the attention they deserved. And so the idea for teapigs was born.

By quality, real tea, teapigs mean whole leaves, whole fruits, whole spices and whole flowers. Without the powdered ingredients found in most tea bags. It's all about the taste. The tea in most tea bags is crushed and brewed so that by the time it reaches the cup, almost all the flavor is gone. Teapigs reject this approach. The whole leaves, fruits, herbs, flowers and spices in teapigs teas are carefully and lovingly prepared to preserve every drop of that precious flavor.
