LEMONAID
Lemonaid and ChariTea create drinks the way they believe they should be made – from the finest Fairtrade ingredients.
The ingredients they use are organically grown on Fairtrade plantations and by cooperatives with whom they have long-term partnerships. So far, so delicious.
In the winter of 2008, the creators of Lemonaid and ChariTea took a deep breath, quit their day jobs, and turned their vision into reality. Just like the Beatles, their business grew in St. Pauli, Hamburg, then and now a bohemian and vibrant area. In their kitchen, they squeezed lime juice, brewed tea, crushed sugar, invited friends, and said cheers. When all the glasses were dry, they decided they were ready for Lemonaid & ChariTea. As a result, with inevitable production capacity problems in their kitchen and with a little help from experienced professionals, a small organic company took over the role of bottling since the summer of 2009. And they did very well.
SOCIAL PROJECTS
They are driven not only by the desire to quench your thirst with delicious soft drinks. The Lemonaid & ChariTea projects are launched to encourage and shape the process of social change. With each bottle they want to make a small contribution. They want to change the world one drink at a time. Just a little bit. In addition to Fairtrade, every bottle purchased supports the Lemonaid & ChariTea Foundation.
So far, more than 6,000,000 euros have been collected, which the organization can now put to good use in support of various social projects in developing countries.

UPCYCLING: MAKING GOOD BETTER
The concept behind Lemonaid & ChariTea is one - to create positive change. They follow the same principle with their upcycle initiatives - they work hard and purposefully to reduce, not add to, waste.
This effort connects them with Ghostbastler, with whom they develop a series of ideas for convenient home applications for their bottles. Thanks to them, they turn their beautiful glass bottles and white crates into lamps, chairs, soap dispensers, vases, shakers and what not, which sit equally well at home, in the bar or in the garden.
