Tonic water Mediterranean is the result of a perfect balance between basil, thyme and rosemary. Basil brings a refreshing touch, rosemary extends the aromatic finish, and thyme provides structure. Inspired by the garrigue, this tonic water creates cocktailes that are both fresh and complex, with truly Mediterranean character.

Recipes developed in Grasse (the mecca of perfumes), produced in Normandy, with organic beet sugar from Hauts de France.

Gin & Tonic Mediterranean

Ingredients:
4 cl Cap Gin
12 cl Mediterranean Tonic water

Garnish:
Lemon wedge
Basil leaves

Preparation:
* Fill your glass with large ice cubes. The more compact the ice cubes, the less they dilute — and the more balanced your cocktail remains until the very end!
* Chill the glass by stirring with a spoon.
* Pour 4 cl of Gin over the ice cubes.
* Add 12 cl of Hysope Mediterranean Tonic Water, pouring slowly over the back of a spoon to preserve the bubbles. Mix gently.
* The finishing touch: a wedge of lemon and two or three fresh basil leaves.

The South Smash

Ingredients:
4 cl Bombay Sapphire Gin
2 cl Lemon juice
2 cl Basil syrup
9 cl Mediterranean Tonic water

Garnish:
Basil leaves

Preparation:
* Fill your glass with ice cubes and stir to chill it well.
* Pour 4 cl of Gin, 2 cl of lemon juice and 2 cl of basil syrup.
* Mix to combine the flavors.
* Top with 9 cl of Mediterranean Tonic water.
* Place a few basil leaves on top.
* Serve with the Hysope bottle to lengthen your cocktail!

A little tip:
Before adding your basil leaves, clap them once in the palm of your hand. This gesture instantly releases their aromas and enhances the cocktail's herbal character from the very first touch of the glass!

Riviera Spritz

Ingredients
5 cl Lillet or St-Germain
10 cl Mediterranean Tonic water

Garnish:
Lemon slice, basil

Preparation:
* Fill your glass with 4 large ice cubes.
* Refresh it by stirring with a spoon.
* Pour 5 cl Lillet or St-Germain, according to your preference.
* Top with 10 cl Mediterranean Tonic,
then mix gently.
* Clap a few fresh basil leaves in your palm to release their aromas, then place them with a slice of lemon on the edge.
* Serve immediately — with the Hysope bottle to dilute as desired!
